| | Following a successful first Conference on Nanotoxicology and Nanosafety held on Jan. 23-27, 2007, in Beijing, China, the second International Conference on NanoToxicoloy (ICNT2008), will be held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China, from Sept. 17 to Sept. 19, 2008, as the 22nd Parellal Session of the 10th Annual Conference of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). It will provide an international platform for presentation and discussion of new advances in this emerging research area. Not only does the ICN2008 choose the basic sciences of nanotoxicological research and nanosafety evaluation as the focus points for exploration, but it also spans the breadth of the subjects to regulatory procedures, environmental impacts, risk assessment, and other applications in relevant fields. With the aims to promote academic, industrial and governmental research activities in Nanotoxicology and related sciences, the ICNT2008 will be surely dynamic, interactive, and intellectually stimulating. It will provide a unique opportunity for scientists with experience to exchange ideas, a casual place for attendees to establish collaborations, and a learning opportunity for students and post/docs. Those who are interested in nanotoxicology from universities, institutes, laboratories and industries throughout the world are encouraged to participate and make contributions. Due to the limited space, the numbers of participants are expected to be limited to about 150 persons. |
